When a customer picks "any available pro," we don't just hand them whoever's next alphabetically. We pick the pro whose schedule benefits most from filling that slot — the one with a 35-minute gap who could really use a 30-minute appointment, not the one who's already busy back-to-back.
Recommended times that fill the holes
On the date-and-time step, customers see four highlighted "recommended" times above the full calendar. We pick those to fill gaps in your day — the slot right after lunch, the last appointment of the evening, the awkward Tuesday opening. Customers feel like they're being shown convenient options; you're actually getting your calendar Tetrised.
Buffer time built in
Some services need setup or cleanup time. Some services need 15 minutes after to clean up. A first-time consultation needs 5 minutes before to greet and seat. Each service can include that buffer automatically — the next slot doesn't open until the work is actually done.
Catches double-bookings before they happen
If two customers somehow try to grab the same equipment, the same room, or the same time at the same time — even by a minute — we catch it before either booking is locked in and offer a nearby slot instead. No "wait, who's using the room?" at 3pm.
